Enablers

A key enabler for this factor is to support individuals who possess positive personal qualities, knowledge, and experience in the other sector, and, or leadership skills to act as change agents, champions, formal or informal leaders in the collaboration.

Encourage sharing of expertise of those who have knowledge of the other sector and are willing to share that expertise. Those with positive qualities and skills should be encouraged to assist in the change management process.

Individuals who lack experience in the other sector can be encouraged to job shadow for a day to walk in the shoes of the other and experience the day to day issues that the other sector faces.
