Lessons Learned
- Evaluations need to be conducted to determine:
- Whether the collaboration is operating in a way that serves the organizations and clients best,
- If the collaboration is meeting its goals;
- Formative as well as summative evaluations should be planned when the collaboration is being developed;
- Evaluations are essential to conduct in all collaborations;
- Both formal and informal evaluations can be helpful;
- It is critical to share evaluation results with all partners at all levels on an ongoing basis.
