Terms such as population health, primary health care, and public health are often understood differently. This primary care team member explains this challenge.
« The same terms are used by members of our collaboration, but they actually mean different things to different people, such as the terms ‘health promotion’ or ‘primary health care’. Our two sectors – public health and primary care – are both in health care but we use these terms somewhat differently or at least we understand them differently. In collaboration, you need to clarify what you mean. It really helps the communication and therefore the collaboration.”
