Two departmental policy makers share their viewpoints on several challenges related to building and sustaining successful collaborations at the systemic level. 

“There is a tremendous amount of inconsistencies in collaboration. There is no clear legislation around partnership or collaboration from the government.”

 “And there is a silo effect as the legislation for different parts of the system doesn’t mention other parts of the system.”

“When you lack mandates and financial support for collaboration, then it won’t happen.”

“When there is limited or no funding for the investment of developing collaboration, then it won’t happen.”
